A friend of mine asked me to make a nice drawing of my pumpkin soup photograph and I might include my mothers recipe. Maybe that would be of inspiration to you :-).

The pen is dipped in Indian ink, kind of like the old-fashioned way of writing. I translated the word for the pen, it is a kind of a 'kroontjespe', 'crown pen' in english says google when I translated it. The indian ink is waterproof when it's dry so this gives the opportunity to add water/colors afterwards.I like this.Esther Lankhaarhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12769430806081277967noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3075115954149593298.post-15495465023756905242013-10-08T11:25:06.816-07:002013-10-08T11:25:06.816-07:00Beautiful photos Esther. I love pumpkins too and I have yet to find the perfect recipe for the pumpkin soup. I had the best one once in Vienna, but only once... it wasn't the same when we returned.

How does your ink pen work? Do you dip it in ink? It certainly suits you and you color your paintings so well.Ninahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07211326527571968786noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3075115954149593298.post-36767119913341962792013-10-07T22:23:46.953-07:002013-10-07T22:23:46.953-07:00Love the colours in the photographs - such an Autu...Love the colours in the photographs - such an Autumn-y palette :) Yes there is much beauty to discover this time of year :) We've been out to the woods to look for conkers and acorns (and we weren't the only ones ;)) - but the most beautiful foliage is right at the end of my street :D
Good to see what you're working on - love the continuing saga of Edmund :D And your pen and ink work is amazing - love the stark black lines! xYvonnehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13707206414839461759noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3075115954149593298.post-10006299461827549622013-10-07T01:21:31.388-07:002013-10-07T01:21:31.388-07:00Thank you and great you stopped by Rachel!
